Homeroom Happenings:
Spelling - We will take a pretest on Monday. Regular and Challenge Spellers will take their tests on Friday.
English - On Tuesday, we will fill out our "how to study" sheet for our Sentence Unit. The test will be on Tuesday, December 11. Enrichment projects will be due on the day of the test.
Science - The children will explore instincts, hibernation, migration, and learned behaviors. Notes will be collected for a grade. They should be neat and colorful.
Social Studies - We will continue our study of the Southeast. This week we will learn about the wildlife and resources of the Southeast. The children will take a quiz on this lesson on Monday, December 10. The quiz will be open book.
Reading - The children will take The Family Apart test on Wednesday. We will also work on our first Extended Response in preparation for ISAT testing in March.
